I think of LitRPGs like the old phrase, if you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. there is little to distinguish this story from others in the genre, but that being said, it isn’t bad.

If the genre appeals to you, and it doesn’t matter much if there’s little at stake, and that the character gets good too quickly, or the overpowered enemies for some reason can’t, or won’t harm the main character in any significant way, than this is the book for you.

Easy and fun to listen to, when you’re not in the mood for anything too complex. Likeable characters, and a decent plot.

My main complaint with the audio book is the recording equipment used. There’s a hiss when ever the narrator says a word that ends with an s.

I do recommend The Grand Games, but only to fans of LitRPGs.
