I chose this book because I love apocalyptic books and Kevin Pierce as a narrator. They go together like peanut butter and jelly. However, this book is mostly fear mongering about protesters. And I cringed on multiple occasions because of the “cat fights.” You want “angry white guy revenge porn”(as another reviewer called it) then this is your book. Plenty of protestors getting killed, victims enduring hours long traffic jams because of them, and over the top violence at the slightest blow of the wind.
