The concept for the story was really excellent and the individual sub plots were good with the twists and turns that tied them together. The problem was I couldn’t get into the characters, there just wasn’t the kind of development that made them believable to me. The romantic scenes were kind of staged and more contrived than real life, just not believable, something was missing. I just couldn’t really get into the story I guess it was a soap opera when I was looking for a novel. I think it probably would be a good movie script. In a few years this could be re-written with much more character development and time dedicated to describing the details of the story and I would probably enjoy it. V/R JRM
