THIS was what I wanted “I’ll Be Gone in the Dark” to be like! The author gives background, not only to the cases, but to the people who solve the cases as well. And he does so in a way that makes the stories very detailed, without being overly gruesome, and the people fascinating, without going too far down the rabbit hole. Would recommend to anyone.
