I have been on a but of a LITRPG run this year and have been seeking out examples of the genre. I came across story which is not from the perspective of some hero with a sharp stick they found under the remains of a decaying dragon.
But the monsters view of the world and not just a monster smash story. A true a count of how you play a weak little monster with some skill and level him and his village life is not easy for the village and slowly adds layer after layer until you end up with a complex tale and great stakes. It anit easy being green.
It is well written I did not feel any weak of flat spots and will get the next one in the series. And has a good narrator who is consistent and does not get in the way of the tale.
