Book 2 is even better than book 1, and that’s saying a lot! December is a character who thinks and acts like the 18 year old she is, but she has to face tremendous loss and heartache beyond her years. As she begins to gather her strength and nerve, she learns she can’t run from her past or future. She’s going to have peel back significant layers of lies, betrayal, and secrets. I can’t wait to begin the next book. I literally devoured this one in one sitting.
