Audible keeps deleting what I write every time I switch apps to verify name spells and specifics, so i am going to just say it without specifics.
The main character has no drive. Almost everyone is against him for no good reason, but any time something good happens, he is just like “Meh, whatever… I guess I will go with it. ” If you just have it playing as background it works well enough, but as a story you are even a bit focused on it is lacking. I could not connect to the story, nor was given much of a reason to care about the protagonist.
The book is not bad, it just is kinda mediocre.
