What I liked – per usual Kevin Pierce adds gravitas to any story.
What made me stop listening – I originally purchased this trilogy boxed set on star ratings alone. I really wish I had read the reviews. I’ll preface this by saying I’m not Christian in the traditional sense. I found it too preachy for my taste. I did listen to book one of three. What I did appreciate was the author’s portrayal of a section of society being harshly dealt with for their beliefs and/or social position. How folks rallied together to help one another in the face of injustice. It laid bare how fractions society is, how any one social or religious group can be discriminated against. Food for thought for those not in your way of life.
