Normally as soon as I hear anything at all that relates to the Isekai genre, I’m not interested. I had a big road trip ahead of me and I read online that this series had an interesting nonhuman protagonist. I decided to give it a try. Every single chapter has been so compelling, I’ve lost countless hours of sleep listening. The main character of this series shows a fun and compelling thoughts process in handling all kinds of encounter and displays a lovely tongue in cheek sense of humor that’s indicated the background and coping skills needed to develop. Every character in this story has felt like they’ve served a purpose and are all unique in their own way. And of course, the action parts themselves are completely riveting. I’d recommend this book series
