The performance was okay. But my issue was with the actual story. It sounded like a basic copy of the first book. Girl sees boy. Girl rescues boy. Boy claims as mate. Girl escapes. Boy gets taken (for military men, they sure get caught a lot). Girl rescues boy… again. Baby. Happy ever after. Once was okay. Now I’m a little worried the whole series will follow that formula.
