The description made it seem like it would be a fun, hilarious action sci-fi, but in reality it’s just juvenile humor with poor story telling. half of the book is filler and the other half is horribly forced pop culture references. The alien invaders speak using gaming lingo and the entire battle plan is based off battle royale games. Which would be fine if it was done cleverly. What infuriates me most is that I know Jeremy Robinson is a good writer because I really enjoyed Infinite. If you aren’t a fan of poorly used crude jokes, bad story telling, and a stupid amount of poop and penis jokes (Seriously it’s the entire book, non-stop), then this book is not for you.
