This is the first book I have listen to by M.K. Gibson and he writes a very good story. M.K.’s story has it all, action, betrayal, double cross and even triple cross. Salem, the main character, is well round with humor, bad-assary, he’s a smart-ass and intelligent. Even if you have not listened to the first book of the series, M.K. gives flash backs to give you enough of a back story so you don’t feel lost in where the adventure is taking you.
As for the narrator, It’s been 4 years since I have listened to one of his books and I forgot how great a job he does in telling the story.
The combination of Gibson & Kafer makes for a winning team
