We Won’t Go Quietly, the third book in the series, is fantastic. The next book won’t be out for a few weeks, but I wish I had it now! I really love the main character, Lauren, in this series. I love watching her blossom into the person she was meant to be, the person she was trained to be. The flashbacks give insight into her experiences pre-collapse, and it’s really interesting to learn about them and see her from a different perspective. I feel like I know the other main characters really well also and the author does a great job, not only with character development, but with world-building and bringing all the sub-plots together into a tightly woven, action filled, edge-of-your-seat story. Kevin Pierce helps bring in the emotional aspect of the circumstances and words through his voice and tone, making this a “must listen to” book. Highly recommended.
