The premise was good but the writing was clunky. I kept waiting for the story to really pick up, but the tension never developed. The constant repetition of the plot became tiresome. I kept thinking I get it, I get it! Let’s move along. The narrator needs more variety in his characters. Many times it was difficult to follow which character was speaking. After 10 hrs I decided I didn’t care any more. It’s not that it’s a bad book, just not for me.
