This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this review voluntarily.

It’s been awhile since i listened to these 3 books, so forgive me for my review being a bit disjointed.

Maddie gives off very strong “Amanda Carter” vibes from Stargate SG-1. She is a strong female character and one to look up to, But I digress.

Book 1 sees us learning of Maddie and her struggles with money and addiction. Pain potion addiction that is! Maddie gets a job that promises large payment as long as she completes it, but it means working with a “visitor”. Maddie often finds herself getting easily attracted to people so she tries to keep herself distanced from the visitor.

Book 2 sees maddie make contact with the dragon like creatures, and she learns that not all is at it seems.

Book 3 sees Maddie racing to save Puatera, and to save the visitor she’s grown fond of.

Andrea Parsneau is a good narrator, with clear enunciation of words. She’s got a great range and is able to bring emotions out clearly from the text she’s reading.
