Admittedly I like to do things while listening to the book (I’ve listened to many) so at times it didnt have my 100% attention but… following parallel worlds/characters was difficult for me. The storyline and characters were interesting but not… deep. You only get what you need to propel the story forward and I prefer my characters a bit more fleshed out.
My main problem was the narrator. His voices sometimes were so similar to each other I had no idea who was talking to who. Sure, context clues helped me figure it out but when I’m thinking of who’s who, I’m not enjoying the book.
I got a deal (3 books/1 credit) so I got a lot of listening time for the money
