- What did you like best about this story?
- I loved the progression of the Mimic as well as the interaction of his familiars. A great storyline that just kept me interested and did not slow down.
- What does Jeff Hays bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
- The narrator (Jeff Hays) does a marvelous job. He does a great job of differentiating the characters so you always know who is speaking (one of my biggest pet peeves in audiobooks). Plus one for the Cartman-esque voice for the Mimic…loved it.
- Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
- SNACK!
- Any additional comments?
- Ignore the publishers summary. It has nothing to do with the overall book. In fact it took me a few chapters to figure out what the heck was going on but once I did I loved it. Really hope the author continues to write more like this.
