The first book was almost enough for me simply to return the series and give up on it. the actual storyline was over halfway through the book and after that it was like they were simply struggling to make a storyline fit.

I enjoyed the story in the second book the most of the three. Overall, the dialogue was extremely unrealistic. Men simply don’t talk to each other the way that some of these characters do.

The performance was probably the hardest thing to get past, especially in the third book when the narrator slipped into voices that sounded a lot more like the geriatric characters when it was supposed to be a sex scene between the younger characters.
