I’d like to get lost in Alice Winters’s mind, for just one day. I want to know how she comes up with some of the things she does, case in point: “Pillage your village.” “Titillate your tunnel.” “Do something heinous to your anus.” And some others I’m not quite comfortable typing out… The things she had Seneca say were so ridiculous and silly, I cannot imagine how she’s able to write these things with a straight face!
Lost in the Mind was another twisty turny addition to the In the Mind series. Chevy and Seneca find themselves mixed up in some craziness once again, but this one gets a little personal. And while the bad guy was terrible, I almost felt a little empathy towards him, once all was revealed.
I hope this isn’t the last of Chevy and Seneca. I’m sure there are plenty more whackos out there that need to be caught!
Joel Leslie was terrific, as usual. While he didn’t have a creepy character to voice like in the last book, there were more than enough voices to keep track of and he did a great job keeping up with them. He’s got such a gift, I don’t know how he does it!
