Book one of this series is the first 45 minutes of starship troopers almost scene for scene. Right down to the boy girl relationships and the shower scenes. No imagination by the author. All that said I did enjoy the book and I am purchasing the second. His first book should’ve been a freebie as an introduction as it is short. I almost felt compelled to complain to Audible as a result.
