besides very poor character development the thing that bothered me the most about this book is the protagonist’s daughter. the characters demand respect from everyone but show absolutely zero respect to other characters. the daughter Barb is billed as some badass but has emotional control problems yet people still put up with her. in the world the author created this is completely unrealistic. The daughter would have been murdered by somebody rightfully so because she’s just a shitty person.
