I found this book annoying and boring

So I got this book for free – included in the audible catalog.

DNF – but almost …

I am baffled by the good ratings – I found this book annoying and boring. It did not hold my interest in the least. The characters are annoying and most are not likeable (hateful / Opal, possessive / Opal’s sister, immature / employee, irresponsible / uncle Pothead).

I thought I would like this book because I love the dog series by Lauren Berenson. It is very centered about Pot and uncle Pothead. I have no problem with Pot and dispensaries, I just found it boring.

The little Corgi was a side line nothing more. It also manages to be very cheese and Fred makes a lot of assumptions. It’s a fairly short book so I read most of it before I gave up – about 3/4.

I like Angie Hickman the narrator. Usually she goes 100 miles a minute but slowed down for this one. May have been falling asleep reading it.
