I found the story lacking. it is hard to explain.

The author has trouble with understanding the flow of his story,
The plot is there but the flow is lacking.

The characters struggle to gain experience and stats, but the stats go unexplained, and everyone in the party is able to use an ability that no one has ever even been able to develop.

Inconsistent story development, in the end I do not look forward to the next chapter, but listen to the next chapter only because I bought the audio book.

To childlike in the approach, and I thought the narration was good but did not fit. you could easily see the author was writing for writing sake, with no understanding of proper development of character.

The party characters do not come together by complementing each other, but they all seem to be the main character. it seems the author has many main characters and the focus or flow of the book is just OFF, is the best way to explain it.
