…anyone that gave up on the series after the first book because of moral standings or the sprawl of characters and arcs. Ryun is a sociopath through no fault of his own. Zach turned into a hypocrite from too many emotions. This is a wonderful take on doing the right thing for the wrong reasons and vice versa. It is rather explicitly explained as being just that from the words of the two pro(?)tagonists, but scruples are a hindrance in the Infinite Realm. The many viewpoints we’re given are all rather deliberate and honestly I’m thankful for the character sprawl for once. Zach and Ryun are “broken” from Earth and we need other’s private opinions for a better perspective for the goings-on.
