This is the second audiobook I’ve listened to by Piers Ryman. I think he did a really good job with this one. The voices he used are heavily accented but I’m not exactly sure which British accent it is. It’s a bit different from what I’m used to but easy and pleasing to listen to once I got used to it.

This is the second book I’ve read by Colette Davison and I liked it a lot. I Wished for You is about three good friends who unexpectedly discover that they feel more than friendship for each other. Friends-to-lovers is one of my favorite tropes and this one was very good.

Each of the MCs in the story has their own problem but they support each other and work well as a unit once they admit their feelings for each other. They have to deal with the usual coming out as a thruple things but they also have to deal with a separation of several months. Just when everything seems like it will be OK, tragedy strikes. It’s a romance so I was pretty certain there would be an HEA and there was.

Overall this was an easy to listen to story, it kept my interest and I enjoyed it.

A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.
