I enjoyed this book. I found the premise- the mystery of it- fascinating and couldn’t wait to see where it would go. It was suspenseful and interesting. I liked both of the characters. I liked that Andrew put his young daughter’s needs and stability first above his own wants. Kenzie was honest with him early on (though not immediately) and I liked how rational she was. They made a good match. This is my first book from this author.
I listened to this audiobook narrated by Connor Brown and Tegan Bourke. The female’s voice is okay for Kenzie, but not much variety. Her voice for Andy was pretty much the same voice she used for Kenzie’s friend, Margo.
