There are a couple of things I just don’t understand about the story. Which is first her friends, they are so engrossed in helping Rory get the guy, but the second she does and has one lunch with him. They completely abandon her and act like she has left them for weeks on end to hang out with her boyfriend , it comes out of nowhere and I find it really stupid. The second thing is Rory getting suspended after merit exposing the bet. That is not a suspension worthy event at least by her. The only other thing I have to say about this book is, I really wish we got to hear the guys perspective on Rory, as well as, a curvy girl myself I know how it feels to be self deprecating. But to constantly have it throughout the entire book gets annoying after a while, I just wish the author could have cut back on the self deprecation. They could’ve had insecurity, but not in every other word the main character says. Another thing I wish for the main character was that she was more rounded. Every time everyone would say she’s so nice and kind and amazing but then they don’t show her doing any of the stuff. When they give an example it’s like oh she picked up trash. It’s not she makes people feel good about themselves, stands up for people, or that she tutors children. we see Garrett being more of a good person than she is. But overall I really like the book and I love seeing and reading curvy girls get love.
