I did enjoy this novel. The conservative bent was a breath of fresh air. I like a long dystopian story full of detail, and the author delivered this to an extent, but more in each new character’s vignettes would have been appreciated very much. His characters are well developed, but maybe shortchanged a bit for the sake of brevity. The story was unique and unexpected. I’m hoping to hear more from this author. The narration was terrific as well.
