It’s too dramatic, Syd makes bad decisions and is like a spoiled adolescent..the book doesn’t give you a breath. Something awful happens every chapter, it’s like 6 books in one as though the author could not decide on what to focus on. Syd is supposed to be the best but she is very immature, bratty, an emotional mess, constantly has conflicting personalities and decision making is inconsistent. I wanted to like it, the story may not be so bad if you read it on your own but the performance left alot to be desired. Syd’s voice gave dumb blond vibes the entire story and the guy sounds like an jerk and rappy.
