This was a fantastic series, literally spot on in terminology, science and emotion. It’s not too often you find an author who takes the time to do the research and “get it right.”
The simple aspect of terminology when it comes the things of the engineering world, the military world, even the civilian and beyond…a perfect example is using “magazine” instead of the common misconception of “clip” when referring to a box style device to hold cartridges in a semi or otherwise automatic weapon.
Overall I wish it would have continued as I found myself relating to a lot of the characters and feeling the emotional responses they were…alas it is not the case. All good things come to an end.
The plus side is the author lives not too far from me, if given the chance I would gladly buy him and his spousal unit a cup of coffee.
Buy it, enjoy it, review it…repeat. That is all.
