Genuinely the worst book I’ve ever listened to. It would’ve been painful enough to read, but the “audio drama” set up made it so much worse. The attempts at humor (specifically one main character) are genuinely offensive they’re so stupid. The story doesn’t develop nor do the characters. I think there’s supposed to be a plot twist, but it was so painfully obvious halfway through that maybe it was just supposed to shock the main character?
Anyway, you’re better off reading mystery short stories written by a nine year old. At least that’ll have some charm.
