I enjoyed this story and Joel definitely is a phenomenal narrator! Joe and Lachlan had a bit of a whirlwind hookup to Elvis wedding story but while they were perfect between the sheets, these two didn’t talk much in their relationship. While I enjoyed all the stories Joe has of weddings he’s helped plan, I never really felt that I got to see much of Lachlan and had a hard time connecting with him. Most of the story is from these two already separated but nothing had really been talked about…though Joe is quite stubborn at this. I did like Lachlan’s plan to get Joe back, but I’m still not sure how well these two actually communicate. Neither of them really do well with talking about their feelings. There’s a lot of love about this story but to me, Joe really carried this one. It takes this separation for Lachlan to understand what he has to loose.
