The Haunted Wait has come to an end. Hugo sure delivered after writing the best cliffhanger of all time in book 4 and then disappeared for 5 years without a trace. Boss move. His followers went crazy on reddit. His editor aged at least 10 years, answering the same questions again and again. The non-believers declared the series dead and moved on. Even Murmur got impatient and was moments away from sending the Boatman to speed up the process.
So was the book worth the wait? Hell yes, it delivers! And Soundbooth makes a top notch production.
