I love funny as much as the next person, but really how much can a person take? The main thing I look forward to is a great story. This series has that in plenty. I loved the humor and banter in book 1. I liked it well enough in book two. About the halfway part in book 3 I was thinking, “Enough already! Dial it back to about 30%” The wise-cracks, asides and smart-assiness was getting in the way of the story. I doubt I will download any more episodes anytime soon.
