First off, the story is interesting–I wouldn’t have been able too make it this far, if it wasn’t–but just how many times can a character fail, in the exact same way, before learning from the mistake? Apparently, a lot. Because of this, good characters died, and bad ones remain alive… Seriously, who in their right mind has no issue with killing evil underlings, but then decides to let the leaders (the real baddies) live? Idiots, that’s who. Complete and total morons. If you don’t have moral qualms with killing henchmen, then it makes absolutely no sense to have them when dealing with their bosses.

And, of course, the mc is still ignoring the insistent prompts of his bonded; inspiring baddies across the land to bow their heads, in gratitude, and take advantage. Guess who dies because of it, this time… No, I’m not telling.
