He found a stranger trespassing in his shower. In her defense this shower use to belong to her grandparents. Turns out they are not strangers. They knew each other in high school after she torched his truck and he torched her scholarship. It’s been six years since they’ve seen each other yet the antics to be mean each other hasn’t faded.

Boom is an enemy to lovers contemporary romance. Brody buys homes to flip. He just so happened bought Arden’s grandparents house. This house was a constant reminder of happy memories for her. Arden fights and begs Brody not to destroy this home.

Sabrina Stark is a USA Today Bestselling author. She writes edgy romances featuring plucky girls and bad boys. Brody Blastoviak is the bad boy from high school that Arden wanted to get revenge against. Arden Weathers is the prim and proper girl from high school that Brody tormented.
Boom is the first book in the Blast Brothers trilogy. This is a rom-com contemporary romance starring three billionaire brothers. Each book can be read as a standalone. Sabrina attempts to recreate the Property Brothers concept with Connor’s character flipping homes. The entire premise is based on this house.
The writing style isn’t working for me. Between the dialogue, the attempt at humor, and copying the television show concept I just couldn’t find it in me to connect with any of it.

Narrator:
Stephanie Rose is the female performer of Arden’s character and point of view. She’s a romance based narrator.
Connor Brown is the male performer of Brody’s character and point of view. He specializes in stories of romance.
I listened at 1.9x speed using the audible app. Usually I would invest in the ebook to go along with my audiobook but after downloading a sample of Boom I realize this is the type of book that is better received by audiobook. I’m grateful for these two narrators for they saved me a tedious read of which I would’ve skim read.
