I’m so troubled listening to it. My face was twisting a half of the time. I’m not sure which troubles me more, that the author, an adult woman fantasized an adult man as “Moral” protector, or many reviews accept/normalize/romanticize grooming.
It is so wrong not only this is a child porn, but also the way portraying abused girls. It felt that the world is full of this kind message: romanticize abusive situation to squeeze out females’ sense of healthy sense of self.
I don’t regret listened to this story, it’s good to know that troubled messages are still out of there. I don’t even identify as a feminist, but it opens my eyes as a woman, a piece of the reality is far away from what should be for women and girls.
