Apparently on the same day that an attack happens somewhere in the country: Highways will be closed to the public, police will cease to be effective across the entire nation, random people will set up ambushes and road blocks, FEMA will somehow mobilize massive camps for stranded people. Day 2 : Wholesale random murder, complete absence of any law enforcement anywhere.

If this seems realistic or probable to you : This would be a great read for you. Also you probably weren’t alive when 9/11 happened.
