1. First and foremost, I would say to the cast from Sound Booth Burlesque well done! Any authors looking to make an audiobook would be lucky to have you.
2. Now to the box set. Book 2 chapter 19 is missing. I picked up just book 2 to see what was in the chapter and its important to the story.
3. Gale’s backstory from book 1 to 2 goes from attempted murder of her girlfriend to wrongfully imprisoned for defending herself against a superior officer who then with the witnesses lied about the encounter.
4. Book 4 is mostly a crossover show. Crossovers can be great if you are a fan of the other series or they can be good to intro you to something else your may love, but if you’re not then it can be very annoying.
5. Overall, in my opinion the story could have been intensely emotional, but it felt shallow or perhaps hollow describes it better. Some may argue that its just the type of story, but I would put forth Manifold by Mike Truk, Star Justice by Michael-Scott Earle, and Skulduggery by Logan Jacobs.
