So, while I read a lot of science fiction, I never really listened to LitRPG before. Then one of my friends recommended a book to me that he really enjoyed, but I did not. I won’t mention that book or series here. Anyways, after listening to those, this book came up on my recommended readings and I thought why not. I’m glad I did. It’s a perfect blend of action and humor, I almost made the mistake of judging it before reading it, just by the cover or even the description. A guy and his cat, running around in his heart printed boxers. Way to obvious. But this book had me immediately buying the next 3 in the series. Then I went on Facebook and joined the LitRPG groups. That’s how good it is. I’m now on book 4 and I’m dreading the end of it because there isn’t a book 5 on Audible.
I’ll give you another example of how good this book is. I only normally get to listen on my commute or while mowing the lawn. I have the option to work from home, but I have found myself looking forward to going in to the office, just so I can get some time to listen to Carl and Princess Donut.
