The Girl Behind The Red Door is a whimsical, and witty listen with a enchanting prologue. A serendipity romantic comedy that reveals Charlie & Reed have a much older, deeper connection that began when they were children when Reed’s family spent their summers across the road from the girl behind the red door. For Reed Windsor, Charlie is “The girl of his dreams”. Reed’s character comes with a bit of mystery. With unexpected twists brewed with supporting character’s that play a intricate role as well as they mesh together. Chemistry between these characters is visible. The Supernatural references in this real life fairytale romance were joyous. A sweet piquant tale involving waffles and whipped cream.
Narrator Steve Campbell’s british accent is deep, clear-cut and smooth. I love British accents and it was a fruition to listen to.
Sarah Puckett narrates this beautiful tale in a way that brings the character’s and narative to reality. Together, these narrators complement each other & the tone and pace flows through smoothly.
