The first book nearly had me drop it before the halfway point because the author did that thing where a character’s, well character changed so drastically and so suddenly. Then they threw in a line a few chapters later to explain it away, like they were retconning. Other than that, the rest of book 1 and pretty much all of book 2 were alright. Book 3 was good as well until the extremely rushed and unsatisfactory ending. Good and smart final fight and then a quick shove out the door for the readers. Maybe I’m critical on this as I like having the stuff that happened a lot more fleshed out than what I got.

Read it, don’t read it. It’s your money.
