No spoilers ahead
So I’m not one to normally listen to side books but by what what going on during the end of book 2 I listened to 2.5 and you may have listened as well. If not you may be curious about things like the red glow of blood magic. In this book however it is a true side book and isn’t needed in order to continue reading if you wanted to get back to the main story. The end of 3 really made me want to skip this book but based on the past I figured it was important. i don’t like side books unless the character is a badass and you eeally want to hear more from them (ex. tyrus rechs in Galaxy’s Edge).
So to sum it up this is just Eliza’s story of how she got the game and her journey to meeting alma, lord bane, and the quests the “god” Hippy sent her on for the benefit of the black sheep, Fluffy. Along with when she answered Jason, when he said he hated the hippy, on how she hates him too but has to deal with him constantly.
