This is my first read/listen by the author Sheridan Anne, and let me tell ya, she KILLED/NAILED this book to the very last period.
Ocean and Colton grew up in two separate totally different worlds. She’s a strong, stubborn, get every last drop out of it and fight to the end kinda girl…She knows what it is to work hard for the things she needs and wants come afterwards. When something life altering takes her from the safety of her gang boys, her world collides with the snotty Colton.
Colton born privilege and nose up in the air enjoys razzing O but if someone else is doing it, he’s quick to save the day or stand up for her sometimes. He tries to deny what his heart is telling him and try’s to stay away from O, but sometimes it just slips and he tries not to give in. When push comes to shove, she’s going to push back and give it her all.
This book is the perfect cocktail of angst, love, banter, betrayal, love, friendship, hurt, lies, and many more emotions. The cliff hanger ending is not at all what I was anticipating, and WOWZERS….
Lessa did an amazing job narrating. She pulled off both voices flawlessly, giving each character thier own personality and descriptive piece. She made you feel like you were sitting there in person hearing the story from O…
