Wow, book 5 really brought on the action and heat! This book was definitely my favorite, it kept me on the edge of my seat/on my toes for a lot of it. We get to see the horrible treatment of the unpredictables, being treated as second class citizens in the magical community. We get to see Elliott step-up again and take on the bad guy with the help of her men. She goes on the hunt for the person responsible for all of this happening. I love how everything comes together, the clues, everything. I loved how vulnerable Elliott is and ooooh man the hotel scene was amazing!!!! So much ????. The end battle is pretty freakin epic, I couldn’t get enough of it. Loooooved this book so much ❤️ Don’t want the series to end ?.
Narration was killer with the hotel scene and during the battle at the end. I could imagine when they were in the bar when Asher was using his gifts while they are all on the hunt. Sarah’s inflections were perfectly timed and really brought these characters to life even more than they have already.
Highly recommend this series ?
