This book was as fun as it was disappointing. Much of the humor referenced things that are too old for YA to know about but, as a Boomer, I found to be hilarious. What really ruined my experience with this book was the over use of the F-bomb and other curse words. The author but a lot of work into phrasing the narration in a delightful way except when it came time for the characters to express frustration… and they had a lot of frustration.
