Amazing! Gritty humor from an interesting perspective in an excellently written story. From the very first chapter this book has proven my preconceptions wrong, and has done so consistently.
I had no idea what to expect when I went into this, and at the end of the first book I find that I still don’t have any idea what’s going to happen next. I find myself laughing out loud more as the story progresses, and more than a few times things go a completely opposite direction than I fully expect them to.
After hundreds of audiobooks with many gems between, this was one of the first true magical experiences that sucked me in and never let me out. Worth the purchase and I’ll be buying every book in the series now.
