The perfect blend of fantasy fiction and comedy. I have just finished some epic fantasy fiction book series and was looking for something in the genre but with a different flair. I asked around at the different hospitals I travel to and was recommended this series by almost everyone. Many were flabbergasted that I hadn’t heard of this. Merely minutes into the book and I knew this was exactly what I was looking for. Karl and his cat Donut are the main characters. I was hesitant about the supporting character being a cat but now would not have wanted it any other way. Other characters and adversaries are introduced but they do not overwhelm you. This is not for teens as scenes are graphic, language is profound, and the humor is explicitly crude. This is all blended together with perfection. I cannot recommend this enough. If you are a fan of DoD, Family Guy, Simpsons, or like fan of the movie Ready Player One then this is for you!
