Man did I need a funny story. This hit the spot. It’s a dungeon/adventure book in a fantasy world. The mimic is part princess Donut from DCC but also demonic toddler. Food oriented and snarky. Love the main character not being so OP that things are too easy. He doesn’t succeed just because he’s the main character or just because he has the mimic which I appreciate. There’s clear growth. Can’t wait for book 2!
