I’ve listened to this twice now and I have to say I really like the combined universe the author has created and it all begins here. It’s definitely harem but it isn’t full of sexy times. The combat is done relatively well even with the main character being OP and only becoming more so in the subsequent books. This is one of those books where almost every scene has some little reference or connection to the books written after this which honestly is a feat in itself. The supporting characters are for the most part individual and different enough from each other to be entertaining. Jeff Hays did a fantastic job on the narration. I highly recommend this and the authors other works.
